My name is Jama (jay-muh) and I'm a New York-based artist.
Making things brings me joy, and if it can bring others joy too, that's even better! I have an Etsy shop with hundreds of 5-star reviews and dozens of repeat customers for my illustrated logos, commissions, and portrait photography.
When I'm not making things alone in my studio, I'm often collaborating to make things on a larger scale, bouncing between theater, film, and TV. (You might notice that my love of entertainment also inspires a lot of my art!)
While always tinkering away on personal projects, I also do custom commissions based on pictures of people & pets, inside jokes, mantras you want to embrace, etc. I'm a big believer that personalized art makes great birthday, holiday, anniversary, graduation, housewarming, or "just because" gifts for the people you love.
